1The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Tammoum. By creating an account or using Tammoum, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Our Privacy Policy and our End User Licence Agreement form part of these terms.

2Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are using Tammoum on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

3Your account

Give us an email address that is really yours, keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. What happens under your account is your responsibility, except where it was our fault.

4What you may not do

• Break the law with it, or use it to help anyone else break the law.
• Upload content you have no right to upload, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Try to get into other people’s accounts, or into parts of our systems you were not given access to.
• Attack the service — denial of service, scraping at scale, or anything else that degrades it for other people.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the app, except where the law gives you that right regardless of what we say here.
• Use automated systems to create accounts or generate content at volumes a person could not.

5Your content stays yours

You own your tasks, notes and attachments. Nothing here transfers ownership to us.

You give us only the narrow permission we need to run the service: to store your content, transmit it between your devices, back it up, and display it to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, other than for backups still rolling off.

We do not read your content except where we genuinely have to — to investigate abuse we have been told about, to fix a fault you have reported to us, or where the law compels us.

6Availability and beta

Tammoum is currently in beta. It will have bugs, features will change, and we may have to take it down for maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and you should not use the beta as the only record of anything you cannot afford to lose.

We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue something significant, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

7Fees

Tammoum is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly in advance, and we will not move an existing free feature behind a paywall for people already using it.

8Third-party services

If you connect a calendar or another third-party service, your use of that service is governed by its own terms, not ours. We are not responsible for what it does, and we cannot control whether it stays available.

9Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or through the request page on this site. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless telling you would defeat the point.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — survive it.

10Disclaimers

Tammoum is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Tammoum is a task assistant. It is not a medical, legal, or financial tool, and nothing it reminds you of is advice. Where consumer law gives you rights that cannot be excluded, nothing here takes them away.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Tammoum is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty United States dollars.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded or because you broke these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, provided we tell you about it promptly and let you take part in the defence.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jordan, and the courts of Amman, Jordan have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Carrying on using Tammoum after that means you accept the new version; if you do not, you can delete your account.
